Admin
Who can do what, what is in the phrase library and what has been reported. Roles shown here describe the studio's permission model; applying them to an organisation's accounts needs sign-in.
Roles and permissions
Each role sees only what it needs, so learner data is not shared by default.
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Guest or local user | Translate, learn, use the phrasebook, keep everything on the device and delete it. |
| Signed-in learner | As above, plus saved progress, bookmarks and accessibility preferences. |
| Educator or trainer | Assign phrase sets, see progress that learners have agreed to share, export evidence. |
| Content author | Draft phrases and notices and send them for review. Cannot publish. |
| BSL reviewer or interpreter | Approve, reject or request changes, and set publication status. |
| Organisation admin | Manage roles, libraries, screen templates and review rules. |
| Governance or safeguarding lead | See incidents, high-stakes routing, consent records and escalations. |
