Prepared with SAMU
Weekly revision planner
This is the planner SAMU builds during a study conversation, as a blank printable page. Fill one row per study session: what you are revising, how you will practise it, and how confident you felt afterwards. The confidence column is the important one — anything you rate red comes back next week.
For: Students in Years 7–11 and their parents or carers
Free, no sign-up, prints on one sheet of A4.

How to use it
- 1Pick the two or three subjects that need work this week — not all of them.
- 2Write the exact topic, not the subject: “quadratic graphs”, not “maths”.
- 3Plan short sessions of 25–35 minutes with a five-minute break between them.
- 4Always write how you will practise: recall from memory, questions, or a past paper section.
- 5Rate confidence at the end of each session and carry the reds into next week's plan.
Worth knowing
- Two focused sessions beat a whole evening of re-reading notes.
- Sleep, food and breaks are part of the plan, not a reward for finishing it.
- If a topic still feels red after three attempts, ask a teacher — that is the fastest route, not more solo revision.
